The classification of deep groove ball bearings

wallpapers Tech 2020-12-14
Deep groove ball bearings are the most common type of rolling bearings. The basic deep groove ball bearing consists of an outer ring, an inner ring, a set of steel balls and a set of cages. The deep groove ball bearing type code is 6.

Deep groove ball bearings are mainly used to bear pure radial load, but also can bear radial load and axial load at the same time. When it only bears the pure radial load, the contact angle is zero. When the deep groove ball bearing has a large radial clearance, it has the performance of an angular contact bearing and can bear a large axial load. The friction coefficient of deep groove ball bearings is very small, and the limit speed is also very high. Especially in the high-speed operation condition with large axial load, deep groove ball bearings are more superior than thrust ball bearings.

1. Deep groove ball bearing with dust cover

Bearings with dust caps are used under conditions where it is difficult to lubricate alone, and it is inconvenient to install the lubricating oil circuit and check the situation. The bearing has been filled with a fixed amount and brand of anti-rust and lubricating lithium base grease in the manufacturer. The amount of grease injected into each set of bearings is usually 1/4 to 1/3 of the effective space in the bearing, and the amount of grease can also be increased or decreased according to user requirements. The injected grease is usually able to ensure the bearing to run under the working condition of -40~+120℃.

Bearings with dust cover can work effectively for a long time after grease injection, without adding grease during use. Bearings with dust cover are mostly used in the rotor ends of small and medium generators, motors, automobiles, tractors, air conditioners, fans, etc., as well as occasions where the noise and vibration of the bearings have special requirements.

2. Deep groove ball bearing with sealing ring

Standard deep groove ball bearings with sealing rings include contact sealed bearings RS type (seal on one side), 2RS type (sealed on both sides) and non-contact sealed bearings RZ type (sealed on one side), 2RZ type (sealed on both sides).

The performance, grease and application of the bearing with the sealing ring are basically the same as those of the bearing with dust cover. The difference is that there is a large gap between the dust cover of the bearing with a dust cover and the inner ring, while the gap between the sealing lip of the non-contact sealing ring bearing and the inner ring is very small. There is no gap between the inner rings, and the sealing effect is good, but the friction is increased.

3. Deep groove ball bearings with stop grooves and stop rings

Standard type deep groove ball bearings with stop grooves, the rear code is N, bearings with stop grooves and stop rings, the rear code is NR, in addition to ZN, ZNR and other structural deformation.

Bearings with stop grooves and stop rings have the function of deep groove ball bearings that can withstand radial loads. The stop ring can limit the axial displacement of the bearing, simplify the axial structure of the bearing seat and reduce the axial size. Bearings with stop grooves and stop rings are mostly used in working parts such as automobiles and tractors that have a little axial load.

4. Deep groove ball bearings with gaps in the ball

The standard deep groove ball bearings with ball notches are available in 200 and 300 diameter series. This kind of bearing has gaps on the inner and outer rings on one side of the bearing so that more balls can be loaded through the opening so that the radial load-carrying capacity of the bearing is larger than that of the standard deep groove ball bearing. However, the axial bearing capacity is small and it cannot run at high speed. If there is a large axial load, it generally needs to be used in conjunction with a set of ordinary deep groove ball bearings.

5. Double row deep groove ball bearings

Standard double row deep groove ball bearings are 4200A, 4300A type. Type A bearings have no ball gaps. Two reinforced nylon cages are inserted from both sides of the bearing. In addition to having a radial load carrying capacity 1.62 times higher than that of single row deep groove ball bearings, double row deep groove ball bearings can also bear axial loads.
